A truce in Lebanon...

The BBC reports on the UN-brokered ceasefire that came into force today at 8am local time. Both sides are claiming victory.

The Jeruselum Post leads with a muted story reporting troop movements but illustrates the report with a large image of soldiers atop a tank looking jubliant and gesturing the "V" for victory sign. Lebanese newspaper Dar Al-Hayat leads with a strong peice that argues western support for Isreal is behind the current process.

On the other side of the divide, Israeli blogger and school teacher Batya writes of his frustration with trying to get the new school year off the ground amid ruined buildings and uncertainty.
